Product Review:- Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturising Conditioner

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner 23 fl oz (700 ml)-a detangling WIZARD!

I just entered a FANTASTIC LolasGreenHair Giveaway (Located here http://ow.ly/4Bqab Quick ends tonight!) I had to post a review of a product or two, so I thought why don't I put them up here too!

I really love this product. I use it when I am detangling before I Co-wash my hair with another conditioner. (Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner Click Here for review).
I find that it's really cheap and has a good amount of slip, which is great for the job as I am very generous with conditioner whilst detangling.
The fragrance is pleasant enough, and I have never had any allergic reactions or such.
Ingredient List
Water, Stearyl Alcohol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Dimethicone, Vanilla (Vanilla Planifolia) Extract, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Milk (Coconut), Fragrance, Glutamic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, EDTA (Ethylenediamine-Tetra-Acetic Acid), Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Citric Acid, Blue 1 (CI 42090)

I have not noticed that my hair is dry or dull-infact the exact opposite-My hais is soft and feels really moisturised.
I must stress that I have never used this conditioner in the ‘conventional way’ ie after a shampoo, (as my routine is detangle with this product/shampoo or cowash/Deep condition), and as stated this is the FIRST thing I put in my hair as oppose to the LAST.

Have any of you tried it? What do you think? Let me know in the comment box!

  1. I'm not sold on this product after using it when I'm between Aubrey Organics conditioners. It does a decent job and is cheaper by comparison, but it just doesn't compare.

I'm no product junky, but I will try a product if I have heard enough positive reviews about it from naturals with similar hair textures.

My hair needs a lot of moisture so I'm willing to spend two to three times what you might pay for a commercial conditioner or shampoo like Herbal Essence, Loreal etc.

Plus, the better the ingredients the more willing I am to try it.

  2. Its good if you like to use it for co-washing (although I have cut that co-washing out, causes too much build up and makes my hair feel dirty)as it does have good slip. I use it sometimes as a pre-poo.

  3. I agree ladies. I def use it as a co-wash/pre poo product. My stable conditioner at the moment is the Aubrey.

Does anyone use this conditioner in the conventional way?

  4. When you say conventional do you mean after shampooing my hair? If so, I did when I first tried it to see how good of a conditioner it was. Since then I use it as a pre poo product.

I'm with MsP co-washing isn't for me either, too much build up.

  5. I used to use it before I started using Tresemme Naturals. I love the smell and it does have good slip but I think Tresemme just pipped the post.

This is a beautiful blog by the way. So refreshing to find another UK blogger. Keep it up!
